Has anybody read Diana Gabaldon's Outlander -series? The books of that serie are Outlander, Dragonfly in Amber, Voyager, Drums of Autumn, THe Fiery Cross. The serie is a bestseller which tells the story of Jamie Fraser, a Scottish Highlander from the 18th century, and his time-traveling wife, Claire. The world is mystic and fascinating. There's humor but still much intension and murders and such. If you haven't read these, then you should!
